Need to be a quick producer, but don't like a lot of drop-down menu clicking? Do you find memorizing keyboard shortcuts difficult? You might like these three new productivity panels for InDesign CC 2015 and CS6: OpenTools, PageZoom, and TypeSetter.

OpenTools

For fast-paced productivity, OpenTools is an InDesign CS6 add-on tool panel with all tools showing on the surface, with no need for a flyout of embedded tools. All 48 tools are arranged with most-frequently used tools near the top of the panel. Also included are buttons for many common viewing options, such as Rulers, Measurement system, Guides, Grids, and view rotations. This OpenTools panel can join onto the existing tool panel or replace it.

PageZoom

For productivity with multi-page long documents, PageZoom is an InDesign CS6 add-on compact tool panel containing next page, previous page, next spread, previous spread, first page, last page, toggle between two pages, toggle between two view zooms, rotate view of layout, fit selection in view, and more.

TypeSetter

When you have lots of text to manage, TypeSetter is an InDesign CS6 panel featuring quick-access to typesetting controls for that text-heavy project. It helps you control text by means of paragraph and character styles. It features access to obscure features like No Break, Change Case, Preview mode, Quick Apply, View settings, and more.

Made with Configurator tools, these custom tool panels download as a PDF document of instructions, with the OpenTools.zxp, PageZoom.zxp, and TypeSetter.zxp extension files attached within the PDF.
